I don’t wanna speculate, but you gotta think he made some promises to Wenaas to get her there at this point. There’s no reason she should still be playing and you wouldn’t be trying to develop a younger player. She didn’t crack the line up at Minnesota, which has way less depth on the pins. I find that hard to believe. But who knows? I don't know about not cracking the lineup. Landfair and Wucherer beat her out for OHes, but she was a 6 rotation OPP. It was enough for her to want to transfer, but it's not like she was cooling her heels on the bench. My thing is she wasn't some kind of overpowering attacker at Minnesota. This is what she is. She's a good player who was decent in 6 rotations. But she doesn't fit the Texas mold even slightly. Texas doesn't use her in the back row. I don't understand why we brought her on the roster unless he really didn't like what he was seeing from Kahahawai and intentionally wanted to recruit over her. I don’t think she wanted to play RS, hence the transfer. She was told she’d play OH, I assume. That’s all I mean to imply. |

Swindle is certainly going to be great.... but is lacking consistency and tempo. Put an all american level setter with this team. They're a definite to Tampa.
Hopefully swindle keeps improving. She has plenty of time to get her flow with this team.

He didn't promise Skinner playing time, and she was a bigger and more important pickup than Wenaas. But I'm not party to any of the conversations. I know he's been willing to pull her out of the lineup at times. Just not for extended periods. |

She has plenty of time to get her flow with this team. I don't think SKT makes this team a definite to Tampa. There are other issues. And I do think this team can make it to Tampa. It will just take some upsets. Doable, but difficult. |
