right! which is why it feels like it isn’t even about the game. he just feels weak in his day to day life and this is how he makes himself feel good. it’s like a master class in narcissism playing out in front of you on national television. I just don't even agree with this a little bit. How many highly confrontational people have you been around in real life? Because that doesn't even remotely describe the ones I've been around, and they'd have no issue with Elliott's behavior on the court. well I live in Israel so kind of a lot.

Of course it's Wenaas with match point.
Texas completes the reverse sweep.
21-25, 27-29, 25-11, 25-11, 15-10.
I give credit to Baylor for a really good 1st set and a gritty 2nd set, but then they just...deflated.
We do it again tomorrow night.

If Set 4/5 Jenna shows up full time AND we get Madi going in the same match, we’ll really be cooking with gas. But the passing rollercoaster has to sort itself out.

well I live in Israel so kind of a lot. And they're all weak in their personal life? That feels like some BS. It was a joke about confrontation. Just saying, I don’t find yelling at a volleyball official to be confrontational. It’s just being a d*ck to someone doing their best to do their job. I wouldn’t call people who are rude to servers “confrontational”. I would say their anger is misplaced. I think the same about Jelliot.

I think the same about Jelliot. I guess. I just see coaches being jerks to refs all the time. It doesn't seem as unusual to me as it seems to be to others. They think it helps their team win. That's the reason they do it. Does it? I don't know. I don't know how to set up a double blind study to prove it. But the weird statements implying he's abusive to his partner in some way and weak in his personal life sounds like you don't like how he behaves so you're throwing a whole lot of speculation in, to partly buttress how you feel about Elliott in the first place. You're not alone in intensely disliking how he behaves. You are alone in then projecting his behavior into his personal life in various ways that are not provable in any way.

Sheer craziness. Baylor came out strong in set 1. Texas could never close the gap. Baylor passing well. They didn't hit as well as Texas, but fewer attack errors. Wenaas looked pretty awful, to be honest, between her attack errors and her horrible serve receive, but she wasn't the only one. 25-21 Baylor. Texas came out extremely strong in the 2nd set. Baylor closed and it turned out to be quite the sideout battle. Texas had several set points but couldn't close it out. Finally Elise McGee and her formidable - but often long - jump serve came to bat and Baylor closed it out 29-27. Baylor up 2 sets to zero. From then on it was complete Texas domination. Baylor seemed to fall apart. Both sets 3 and 4 went UT's way 25-11. Wenaas started looking like a monster, particularly in set 4. She couldn't be stopped. Everything was falling. Set 5 Texas controlled throughout. Once again, Wenaas was the story as much as anyone. 15-10 Texas. Reverse sweep. Crazy stuff. Obviously way more detail than I'm giving here. It just felt like Baylor lost all confidence in their ability to win and score points with consistency in the 3rd set, and they never got it back. They looked so chaotic on their side after looking like a real team the first two sets. Edit - Oh, and Elliott threw some massive tantrums. Molly Phillips was called for a lift in the 2nd set. It looked like a lift to me. But Elliott used that as a sledgehammer to give tirade after tirade to the refs from then on. O'Neal even annoyingly looked at him once like, "Can I go ahead and serve now, Mad Max?"

Can we talk about Madi MF Skinner leading all players (including both liberos) with 19 digs There were some great ones in there, too. Real rifle shots she got off the floor and made playable.
