I don’t like this match, I’ve never liked the Minnesota matches. They have always been hard fought & exhausting ordeals (with the exception of the 2021 playoff).
I especially don’t like that this is almost a must win match for Minnesota to make the tournament and that it is nationally televised so if there was ever anything that could focus the enigmatic Landfair or struggling Wucherer, this would be it.
I guess Wisconsin wins at home, but if they get off to another slow start and give Minnesota hope this match could go south in a hurry for Bucky.

On the Minnesota Volleyball Facebook page, there are pics of the girls in their Halloween costumes. There’s a pic of Murr and Shaff standing outside the plane before they are taking off. Murr is in a boot. I hope that’s nothing…. But don’t believe it’s part of the costume.
Could be really interesting if she can’t play!

I do not anticipate this being easy for the Badgers or their fans. The Gophers have issues, but also a lot of talent, and I expect them to show for this one. It’s hard to show off your talent with an injured, immobile setter… Minnesota can/will beat a lot of teams with an immobile setter, but that won’t happen here.. 1-3 if Minnesota plays well… 0-3 if they don’t… |

As of last week, the badgers started implementing some new things re tempo on sets off the net. They were not playing nearly as smoothly as they were before they started implementing the change, as the MSU match showed. This match could be pretty sloppy and very tight if the badgers don't get that down, and they have very little time to do so before tomorrow.
