I missed the match but I’m reading 7 reception errors for Wucherer. I risk asking the question, is this in fact correct?

Well, Gophs got it done. From being down significantly in the third through winning the fourth, they seemed to have found something.

Zeynep Palibiyik, maybe Julia Hanson. Maybe Skylar Gray in a pinch. You think maybe there's a reason they aren't in there? Either the coach is incompetent or the outsides threatened to transfer if they don’t play 6 rotations. Which one do you think it is? Your argument is invalid. There are players on the roster that can come in.

Your argument is invalid. There are players on the roster that can come in. I happen to think the bizarre idea that Wucherer and/or Landfair "threatened" to transfer if they weren't allowed to play six rotation to be completely absurd. Why would any reasonable coach go along with that if it resulted in the team absolutely sucking? Like, be my guest McKenna! Go prevent another potentially top-ten team from making the tournament by insisting that you're allowed to remain in serve receive. The alternative would be unquestionably better for the team's results if Wucherer or Landfair chose to transfer based on their apparent demands to be allowed to play six.

TayLa doing well defensively but struggling offensively. I'll just say she's working on her defense at practice to make this more palatable for me. Um, it's literally one of her best matches of the year.

Though, she did score 18 points which is her 3rd best output of the season so I can see it from that point.

That’s a huge win for the Gophers.

Cook maybe purposely sabotaging Wucherer's chances of an intraconference transfer by keeping her in the back row? Who'd want her playing like this? I'm grasping as straws. That strikes me as (un)likely as the conspiracy theory that Wookie and/or TayLa are threatening to leave *unless* they play all six rotations. Maybe Keegan and staff know the players’ skill levels and relative ranking better than we fans do. I know that’s a completely whacked out theory, but maybe it’s right.

I acknowledged her defense in my previous post. She did score the 3rd most points of the season so yes, definitely one of her better matches. Offensively though, this is by far not one of her best matches of the season.

Sad that whacked out theories are what gopher fans are having to resort to in order to understand their coach's frightening (and for the most part losing) choices.

Maybe your choices would be losing even more. So there’s that.
