Grand Rapids will be one of the favorites going into the season.
Dimitrova is going to be one of, if not the, best player in the league.
Scully and Gomez are both good passers.
I'll be interested to see if they let Sponcil be the backup setter or if they'll opt for another one to sign/draft.

Thanks for doing this avid 2.0 , I was worried I was going to have to create my own thread for the Rise and it wouldn't have looked nearly as nice. It's a 2 hour drive for me but I'm hoping to attend as many matches as I can. I love this roster with its mix of familiar local pros, national stars and Dimitrova to top it all off. |

Got my email today following up on the deposit I made a while ago.
The seats I had for the Rampage (front-row center of a upper-bowl corner section) weren't available. Apparently those two sections will be tarped off, so I got upper-bowl, center-court front row.
Including the deposit, all 12 games set me back $326.

Honestly, a steal for the enjoyment you should get out of them. I plan to make the VERY long trip up to Grand Rapids a few times and I’ll also go see them when they are at Columbus. I can’t wait for the Indy team to join and I can catch games so easily. |

Really excited to see this team compete. Should be a good competitive gym for most positions. Excited to especially watch chausee continue her growth and see garvelink back in action!

Michigan and Michigan State usually hold a spring match in concert with the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame Volleyball Showcase. I think it would be amazing if this could be part of a doubleheader with a Grand Rapids Rise home game this coming spring.

If they can move it out would be quite the day for volleyball. |
