Didn’t know Eli Sharping was a practice player for Wisconsin volleyball while he was a student and club player in Madison..

She's done quite a few games where she is just terrible. Technology is not her friend. I know this sounds mean, taking away someone’s job etc, but are refs graded after a season on calls correct or not and determined if they’re brought back? Honestly I've wondered this myself. I think it should be a policy.

There's something so unsatisfying about a team loaded with all-americans, transfers and 5th years who are supposed to win. If Illinois can't take Wisconsin out, I'm sure glad Nebraska did. Ah yes, as opposed to Nebraska getting the entire US Junior Nationals team on their roster winning. Must be so satisfying. Difference is they play their entire collegiate career there and develop as players at one school. That's way more impressive (from a program perspective) than acquiring a bunch of proven transfers that were stars at their old schools and creating a super team. There's no doubt the transfer portal is the key to success nowadays, just makes it hard to root for teams like that

If it’s a job, then they should have some sort of performance review system in place. If it’s volunteer, we’re SOL 🤷♂️

One of our biggest developments this season is Orzol at libero, but that doesn't fit your narrative right? Lmao, if TTA could just play like her star-self at NW, we would be unbeatable, we can't even get her to do that. Also, hmmm, Nebraska's best player is a transfer. But shhhhh, let's not mention that? Edit: the funny thing is? We tried to get the top recruits. Elia Rubin? Nope. Swindle? Nope. But I guess if we can't get top recruits like Nebraska and Texas, Sheff should just let the program wither away like Tamas has huh?

TTA might be the only one, and she’s not exactly performing to her previous level. She’s the only one and done of the transfer portal era. Franklin is performing at a NPOY level right now, but there are a few of us who weren’t exactly thrilled with how she performed last year. She’s definitely developing into a much better player in year 2 under Sheffield. Booth was heavily recruited by Wisconsin, so that’s not much of a stretch to see her here, as her #2 pick. She’s going to be here for 3 years and should be a better player by the time she leaves.

Honestly, I don't think we should validate trolls re transfers. They are not being honest.

I struck a nerve and I love it! I never said Wisconsin doesn't develop players, I said Nebraska does the best job at it and therefore it is more rewarding. Also, developing Orzol as a lib isn't impressive considering she's statistically dead middle in the Big Ten out of the liberos. & it's weird how much of a down year TTA is having isn't it? Nebraska plays one transfer (I could be wrong about that). Wisconsin consistently plays Carter Booth, Caroline Crawford, Temi Thomas-Ailara, Sarah Franklin. Am I forgetting anyone else?
