Other than the grade school kids who were thrilled to be on tv, hard to imagine anyone being very happy about this match.

Crazy take after her setting tonight Miner was good in the first two, and poor in the next two, which corresponded with Stanford serve receive. Pukis just does more with the ball. I like Pukis, but I have no idea what "does more with the ball" means. |

What a match. It looked like the Ducks were going to get swept, easily, and I’m glad they fought back and made it interesting. I still think Hannah is sick or injured, and I hope whatever it is heals quickly! Props to Daley for coming in and passing fairly well, and Morgan Lewis for carrying the solo offensive load for 2+ sets.

Sigh. I think having a quiet home crowd actually works more against Oregon than a rowdy crowd. Players like Pukis and Georgia thrive off of the crowd and really get to fire the team up. Hannah definitely looked hurt and really had a slow first step and was conservative when hitting the floor. Hope we can prioritize getting her healthy for the tourney. Morgan was a bright spot. Our SR was super sus but we seemed to pass better in the latter sets, and Daley was an upgrade from Kate (but still the passes were not as good as we needed them to be).
This match really made it clear how much we miss Brooke. She just made everyone better and was so clutch in SR.
Hopefully we can find our middle offense again but it’s clear we are going to live and die by our passing (and serving).

I hope Mimi finds her confidence, I think Brooke was such a great leader and supporter for Mimi and she could use that right about now. She just doesn’t look confidence when she swings this season. (But also Hannah’s setting hasn’t been consistent at times)
It feels like out of the returners that only Morgan Lewis is playing at her level/better compared to last season while everyone else is underperforming/struggling to stay keep their level up.
