That Purdue assistant coach is giving me annoying Jaylen Reyes vibes. Not even close. Michael is a good guy who the team loves. He's mostly communicating with them about the things he sees. He used to be the analytics guy. He's not trying to play the role of "Head Coach" the way Jaylen does. |

Welp, we are clearly seeing Z ain't much better in terms of passing I don't know, I kinda disagree. I thought she did pretty well until the end of the 4th set. At least her bad passes were playable. |

Not gonna lie -- after that 1st set, I thought we were DOA but way to fight back and get into the groove, Purdue!
Rough night for Hudson but she was getting a lot of the junk balls in the first 2 sets. She made a nice comeback and was great defensively.
I guess Colvin read my post about her because WOW. There's the offensive Raven we love to see. And what a "welcome back" party for Wollard who was absolutely clutch from every aspect of the game.
Big ups to Hornung who stepped her game up tremendously! 20 digs in right back, only playing 3 rotations. Incredible.

He has what I call, "young coach syndrome". It's where they stand so close to the sideline and you can just tell that they want to be on the court. I prefer the Russ Rose style of coaching, where you make yourself comfortable on the bench. |

OK but Reyes is up in every down ref's face, wanting explanations and looking ready to grab the green card himself and I hear his voice more on the court mics than the actual players. But if you mean from a standing position, then yes, he's right there. Watching every play. Very "new school" coaching. |
