To their credit the UCLA match was an anomaly no one should get that many aces and USC is a good but Washington State had Final Four hopes and these matches are at home so they really need to try and come back and win this here . I mean, that many aces happen because WSU is weak in serve receive. It was a known issue, and the pieces they picked up have made them worse at it. |

No one thought they would be this good.
They’re now fighting for second place in the pac 12, in arguably the strongest year they have had in quite some time

It's why they picked up a foreign libero in the offseason (unfortunately, that libero passes even worse). |

The Trojans just played so badly that everyone's expectations went away completely. |

After the Hawaii losses I had questions but it seems they have figured some things out. I still think high ceiling but low floor when they play well they can challenge any team but when things go awry it can be bad |

Wijay for Pac FOY. USC is not ranked in the top 25 without her I agree she should get it. I would probably draft Li before her if I were putting a team together, but team finish matters and she's been able to contribute more because of it. |

USC has not gone 4-0 against the Washington schools since 2011 (Alex Jupiter's NPOY season)

You know what as much as I hate to see Washington State not play well there is something satisfying about seeing teams exploit bad passing so many players think this game is won at the net and it’s serve and pass.

Not sure we ever heard any backstory, but Tuaniga does seem to be moving 100% better than she was in September.
