I am just not a fan of their behavior on or off the court and I have heard from many teams they feel the same. A great example of my perceived attitude on that team was numerous players throwing their 2nd place plaques from the 2023 tournament on the ground as the team was "accepting" their individual awards. Side note to that, Landon Fuller did make his teammates pick them up. He appears to be a real class act. First of all, I think I can confirm your take on Landon Fuller. Based on what I've seen of him personally, and on what I've heard from people who know him personally, he is of extremely high character. I've heard that he may be coming back again for his last year of eligibility after this year's lost season. I wish him well. Also, I agree that the teams under Lewis, up through their national championship team in 2019, were very classy. That 2019 team was a joy to watch. I wish August and the new coach at OUAZ, Wellington Afusia, well in changing the cultures at their new helms. I am reluctant to paint all of the Arizona NAIA schools in the same light; Park Gilbert has just not been good enough the last couple years to exude any type of arrogance and Arizona Christian, like all Christian institutions, would not tolerate that type of behavior from their players. However, between BenU and OUAZ, I have witnessed some of the nastiest, most mean-spirited behavior that you could imagine from their players, especially the bench players, who seem to have decided their only value to their team is to verbalize very personal attacks on opposing players. Some of it has been disgusting. Why it seems to be so pervasive at only these two Arizona schools is an interesting question. I hope it doesn't say something about the culture of volleyball in Arizona. As it is, I haven't gotten the impression that Stallman or Steele have been encouraging that behavior, but I can't say they have done anything to discourage it. It just seems like they try to pretend they don't know it's happening. Let's hope August and Afusia do better reining things in. If not, it's going to end up putting a stain on this sport we all love. I agree with everything you said there. Hopefully new coaches bring a new culture. Some of the benches throughout the NAIA are very entertaining and don't "go after" the other team and they are fun to watch. Big fan of the Georgetown bench and the different individual cheers that they have for each player. Also have noticed some teams don't really get a very "vocal" boost from their benches at all (personally, I would rather have this than the obnoxious benches).

While we are on the subject of culture and coaching changes, Noah cotterman the old BenU Assistant coach was just named the new MoValley head coach. Ive been around the heart a while and I know the other teams aren't exactly the most classy but I can confidently say that they lead the charge in the heart of poor behavior. Im interested to see how he handles that locker room and if any BenU guys will follow him to MoValley after the head coach is also leaving them
