I think Hames is quite a bit slower than Meyers. That might have been out of necessity. lol Well, Meyers is actively choosing not to square up. The "deception" doesn't seem worth the decline in accuracy or lack of vision on the block once blockers recognize she'll set outside from that body position and adjust. I really haven't watched Long Beach much this season. I remember Meyers with a big wrap on the leg and thought she was compensating/cheating when she was doing that. But I've also never really thought she was very deceptive either--quick, but not deceptive. |

Long Beach setter is setting with her back to Hawaii, never saw that before. But her sets are oof 😅 Misty May used to do that sometimes, but she was good. |
