I was wrong, good win for Texas. They played alright but I think that Swindle should start and play the entire time. There's not that much of a deference in their setting imo. Swindle doesn't always look pretty but she's a winner and does other things well. You are the "Ted Cruz" for our opponents. Keep picking "them"! Appreciate it.

The biggest question now is does Carlson get the starting nod tomorrow?

Texas might've swept had it not been for a phantom lift call late in set 2. I think the R1 forgot about no doubles on two, blew her whistle, then remembered and quickly pivoted to a lift call to ensure no UT challenge and win. Both of the first two sets could have gone either way. I’m higher on Wisconsin than others. They just have more to work out than some of the other teams I’ve seen already. But even that Texas team in 2022 that looked like a ball of rolling butcher knives early in the season had to keep improving throughout the year to keep up with everyone else. If Wisconsin manages to improve more than their future opponents, watch out. Same thing with Texas. So much to work on. But Wisconsin may be the most talented team on paper they face all year. I don’t think Kentucky is as talented across the board, and I think they’re #2.

The biggest question now is does Carlson get the starting nod tomorrow? Probably? But maybe they keep switching. I also didn’t see Binney being such a big piece of the rotation. I wonder if they redshirt Lauenstein. Way too early to say either way. Heck, Kahahawai has an eligible redshirt, too. I’m glad Bunton got out there some. Only having two healthy middles is no way to go through life as a national championship contender, although Singletary looks as amazing as we thought she would, and Ames will continue to develop.

This Minnesota team is looking pretty good at the moment, Shaffmaster without the Terminator brace, Hanson/Wuercher/Grote on the pins

Said he thought they were a top 10 team but not getting recognized for it in the AVCA poll. He said he thought Wucherer was going to be a big difference maker this year and they have a lot of talent on their roster.
