Last night:
They had to figure a way to incorporate the previous non-existent Southwest Conference banners, lots of Big 12 banners, and future SEC awards. So, they went for quantity over quality.
I was amazed at how many people were there for a home opener. The picture in the middle shows how full the GA spot, typically the hardest to fill, was during warmups.
And the national championship banners? Not a fan. I mean, this is a coach doing this design with PowerPoint.
Underwhelming.

As we were arriving early to the Greg, we saw the Miami team and their support staff dragging their luggage and supplies through Rec Sports and heading to one of the large flexible event gyms. I think they literally got off the plane, onto a bus and headed to practice before checking in (this was around 6:30).
They didn't come watch the game with Indiana and they play them tonight (Friday) at 7:00.
My wife was wondering if it was a ticketed game and I didn't think so? And then as we were walking to the parking garage someone said, "Yeah, you just walk right in and sit anywhere tomorrow"
Wife and I don't usually go and watch non-Texas volleyball. But, maybe grab a bite to eat near campus and go watch a set or two.

What streaming service should i get to watch all espn, sec/sec+, acc/acc+? I've been happy with YoutubeTV. Although I miss the days when it was $40/mo. Do you have a family member that would split the cost of YouTube TV that lives relatively close by? YTTV allows you to share your account with family members if you're in the same region. Now, I don't know what that exact distance limit is, but I share an account with my folks who live ~45 miles away and it works fine. I love YTTV for $36/month! |

We have six folks on our YT TV account and I pay $26/month! Also, mark me down as another person who's not loving these new banners. If anything, each championship should have its own banner, they should just make them smaller. Someone needs to write an email! |
