The words "abandon" and "bankrupt" are only coming from your posts. No one else brought up those possibilities. Are you concerned either of these might happen? When someone utters the words "WSU athletics had approx $100m in debt" it usually implies bankruptcy or on the brink thereof, I thought it does anyway, silly me. No implications at all. Just a statement of fact WSU Athletic Debt . You can interpret it however you want. But if you're right, claim the credit for calling it first. |

It's a good question and one we are not used to contemplating. I can't say I've seen any signs of dissension or unhappiness, but I'm just a fan looking from the outside. If anyone does signal their intention to leave, it could be a problem but more likely an opportunity. My prediction is Greeny snatches Bush(strong WSU ties) and maybe Bays who both have strong West Coast ties and probably want to stay in a reformulated PAC.  :volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/94015/pac12-death-watch-thread |

Not sure what that has to do with anything. Last spring I predicted the UW wouldn't make the tourney and they didn't, just like they're not going to make it next year. When Tui was hired I said it was a bad hire and this will bare out with time. Now I'm predicting the U will be hurt more by the portal than helped whereas the opposite will apply to WSU. |
