It's weird how forgettable A&M is for everyone lol. Their RPI is not bad, but I think it's bc they truly have not done sh*t lately and the matches I have seen them play in, they do not look tourney ready. But, their pre-season was legit. Mandela effect? Even the committee was like "Oh yeah they barely got in." Lol wut. They lost 1 match outside the Top 50. Texas A&M was legit. 8-10 in conference doesn't sound legit to me. lol |

It wasn’t like a really knowledgeable group of volleyball minds constructed the bracket. Look at the ninny heading the selection committee…not a clue.
The coaches have to demand better….

The SEC is so freakin' good at gaming the RPI year in and year out in every sport. 8 teams into the tourney is insane, that's 1/8 of the bracket. especially when it’s not unreasonable to say none make the Elite 8. It's better for getting teams in if there's not much separation between the top and middle tier teams. Also, it's nice if the worst teams don't win anything. |

Is SFA over KState the worst committee decision in recent history? no, but SFA over K-state, St. JOhns, UCLA, Long Beach is. just pretty clear it was an RPI/KPI bracket with Miami over NC State consuming the entire debate apparently. committee decided to not exercise brain cells. adn then move on to maple bars, bear claw, and raspberry filled type of thingy |

The Loyola Chicago one is interesting. I remember a long time ago, New Mexico's athletic director was on the men's basketball selection committee (I thought he was the chair, but it appears he was a senior member). New Mexico got in with a record-high 74 RPI in 1999. I don't think that was a coincidence. All you conspiracy nuts can give it a rest.Loyola not in, GA Tech not hosting. They couldn't make it too obvious. My conspiracy: DHump is retiring after this season so she asked for one last tourney appearance. |
