A lot of MN haters, but I have also seen many posters saying they don’t want MN in their regional??? I guess I’m a little confused. I dont see how im being a hater? K-State and Minnesota had similar profiles. K-State was 3-3 vs top 25, Minnesota was 1-10. K State was 6-6 vs the top 50, Minnesota was 3-10. Both had a top 10 win. Both had two bad losses. I wouldnt want to play KState either lol I think it is also worth pointing out that KState was 0-3 vs. 51-100 teams while Minnesota was 7-0.

Only one of the teams that Minnesota beat in that section (High Point lol) had a higher RPI than any of the teams KState played.

Let’s not forget that Keegan Cook is currently President of the AVCA. I don’t know what impact that had, but let’s not forget it.

im not arguing about Minnesota being in.
I just want consistency across the board for the criteria they're giving.

I know what you’re saying. My point is: I had been following the Bracketology thread and didn’t see this much outrage when MN wasn’t really considered “last 4 in” at that time. Why now? Because KState didn’t get in? Look at others who were also in…. TCU(MN won), SFA(enough said), Baylor(MN won). Idk why MN is the one who didn’t deserve it or only got in because of their name. That’s, frankly, BS. I dont think its BS. There is name bias. There's a reason this whole board memes Penn State. B1G bias is real. Did it happen here? No one can know for sure. Im not outraging over Minnesota's inclusion. My point was more why isnt the committee consistent if they're gonna take Minnesota, where is KState? Their whole point was about bad losses for Kansas St. SFA has none, Baylor has none, Im not sure about TCU. Minnesota has two. Why wasnt Minnesota a part of that conversation for the committee? Brand/name bias? Who knows. I'm sure there definitely is some name bias for MN, who is a storied program and typically does well in the tournament, just like there is for Nebraska, Stanford, Florida, Texas, Penn State, etc. Nebraska and Penn State have absolutely benefitted from that year after year so it seems a little hypocritical for this Nebraska fan to be calling this out. You can complain about consistency from the committee all you want but we all know the storied programs get a little more leeway than others. MN might not get that much more if they dont shape up and get back into top form in the next few years though.

Sure if you look at it that way but I wonder/doubt that the committee would go that far and plus that is how RPI group the teams. Anyway, I cannot wait to see the potential match up between Creighton and MN

They have all of the information, use it. I just want consistency. I hope they lose to Utah State

May the better team win!

Their whole point was about bad losses for Kansas St. SFA has none, Baylor has none, Im not sure about TCUWell, TCU has two RPI 150+ losses, to WVU and Cincinnati. They also fizzled a little bit down the stretch, going 4-6 over their last 10. On the plus side, they have one top 25 RPI win (Utah State, in September), two wins over Baylor, a win over FSU, and a win over TAMU.

I feel so bad for K-State out and SFA in.... Kansas State beat BYU x2 , TEXAS, BAYLOR ... don't go 0-3 vs 50-100 AND have losses to 150 and 158 rpi...
