I know Nebraska has a tendency to play to their opponents level but this is a little concerning. It feels like they sort of limped into this tournament and this wasn't the showing they needed to reverse that feeling.

I know Nebraska has a tendency to play to their opponents level but this is a little concerning. It feels like they sort of limped into this tournament and this wasn't the showing they needed to reverse that feeling. It’s the first round. Hard to get excited about it. PSU looked horrible yesterday and today they looked pretty solid. Nebraska will bounce back. Kentucky will be the first real challenge and it should be a good one. |

These teams aren't coming to the tournament to be victims and just fold. They may be underdogs but they aren't bereft of talent. |

I definitely get that but I guess my expectations are higher for this team and I was hoping for a real thumping to get some mojo back. Obviously a win is a win and that is great but I feel as though Nebraska needs some momentum and the easiest way to get that in the early rounds (other than winning) is to play strong and clean. |

Merb is obviously a bit unwell here during the presser. She played with a cough drop in her mouth. She and MM said Lexi picked the team up when they were flagging in the third.

Nebraska should've hit .415 and won this match -11, -9, -13. That was embarrassing.
This team has the ability to make the Iowas, Northwesterns and Illinois of the world look like 2nd Round tourney teams.
