I can't remember watching Gophs play at this venue over the last so many years, has it been a while since they've been in Omaha? It looks like the last time Minnesota played Creighton in Omaha was in 2008. It was one of those early season invitationals. That was at the Civic which no longer exists. The other NCAA matches vs Minnesota per Creighton's media guide were all @ Minnesota. Completely foreign territory! I guess that is the experience for a lot of teams to start the tourney every year. Exciting, hope to see maroon and gold in those charming blue seats |
