Coogs win! Everything turned on that pivotal end of second set. UH was close to being down 0-2.
We don't match up well at all with Stanford but it's still been a good season.

The three-headed monster of Sauer, Mbonu and Jackson had a lot to do with it as well as the blocking of Morin. The fought back many times but every time the Cougars did some deflating things like getting easy kills or blocking. |

Flop of an ending for UCSB, agree they played a lot harder against Hawaii!! Maybe Houston is a bad match-up for the Gauchos with their powerful pins? Hawaii and Houston are two very different teams that demand two very different game plans. The Gauchos and their fast system have been the Wahine kryptonite for a while now. 2013, 2018, 2021 and this year comes to mind. Also, that 2019 Gaucho team had the stuff to take down any team. |

Well, does anyone really ever, except for the weird COVID-19 spring? Wisconsin has 0 wins ever against them, and 4 NCAA Tournament eliminations. I try to repress this to avoid volleyball PTSD! |
