The B1G-10+1 Invitational hosted by Wisconsin is almost set. Just waiting to see if its Oregon or Hawaii.

Also Franklin is absurdly good but watching this one just reiterated how important Smrek is to this team. Going back to the Purdue and PSU loses we struggled to have that other bailout player who can get us points in challenging moments. Watching MJ have the option to just float a skyball to Smrek who can just jump over the block on almost every out of system ball is just awesome.

If there's some B1G Black Magic in the postseason that we can borrow for tomorrow in advance with interest to be paid off at a future time... that would be nice. No top-4 seed has lost in the 2nd round since the Regional Hosting format changed. Skylar Fields would like to make history tomorrow and gift Louisville a regional. |

Smrek is balance in attack, but also, her missing means Orzol as OH, GG as libero and TTA as RS. I think all those changes are just, if not more, important. |

Smrek and TTA obliterated the Miami block.
GG's best game as a Badger. Although its easier to read when so many back row attacks. MJ has separated from Izzy in performance. Maybe Dev being less then full health has played a decent part. I hope MJ can ultimately stay one more year and we run one more season of 6-2.

The Smrek-Franklin express rolls on. Also GG with 16!!! digs tonight GG leading the team in digs playing 3 rotations. Orzol had 14 digs. I think she had four on four straight points in the middle of the third set. |
