I will be rooting for a Minnesota to win, even if it will blow up my bracket entirely. 😁

from Gopher thread: These teams probably know each other's strengths and weaknesses KBB certainly does MN has been on a very good trajectory recently The outcome, however, will come down to execution and the ability of the opponent to deny the other their ability to execute There is both a quantitative and qualitative difference between the B1G and the Big East RPI| Team RPI
11 Creighton 1 Nebraska 23 Marquette 6 Wisconsin 47 Saint John's 9 Purdue 92 Xavier 15 Penn State 95 DePaul 31 Minnesota 103 Villanova 71 Indiana 160 Butler 74 Northwestern 173 Seton Hall 86 Ohio State 181 Georgetown 87 Michigan State 227 Connecticut 93 Illinois 272 Providence 107 Maryland The B1G may not be as strong this year in producing tourney worthy teams but there's no question that the conference season is a crucible that, from extended pounding, can forge a more battle tested squad. I know who both Louisville & Pitt will be rooting for. Please share with the rest of us who Louisville & Pitt will be rooting for.

KBB has had more talented clubs that did not go far but I like Creighton to win in this match.

They will be rooting for the known quantity
It’s much more daunting to face the opponent who was slotted in the top 10 in the first (idiotic) reveal who had the jaigsaw pieces that didn’t fit together until the last 10 weeks of the season
I would say that creighton is dependably competent If you fancy yourself the better team Then you’d prefer an upcoming opponent to function reliably, not the mercurial dangerous highly variable performer

Louisville and Pitt serve so tough. They undoubtedly would rather play Minnesota. They would serve them off the court. Don’t let Minnesota fool you, they still have the same issues they had all season: sus passing and they cannot slow down an opponents offense. At the end of the day: the only team any team should be rooting for is themselves.

After losing to Marquette in Milwaukee on Oct.6, Creighton has won their last 16 matches, losing only ONE SET (23-25 at St. John's). That's the definition of being ON A ROLL! Beating them in their gym will require Minnesota's best of the season.

Sure to most of that but they held their opponent hitting percentage to .182 in conference play. 4th behind Nebraska, WI and PSU. Slowing down an opponents offense was actually a strength for them this year.

Beating them in their gym will require Minnesota's best of the season. Speaking of that, I thought St. John's and JoJo were about to get rolling by taking that 3rd set in the Big East Finals against Creighton but the Blue Jays/Kiana weren't going to allow it. Creighton's the only Big East team left in the tournament now (not inlcuding NIVC)... so keep dancing. Do it for JoJo, and redemption for the past... I can't even say it. Just read Kingsley's post in the first page and iykyk.

I’m not into pointless banter Since Wookie is largely out of backcourt passing responsibility And TayLa increasingly reliable (tho certainly prone to errors) as a passer That ‘sus’ rep has, for the most part, expired
For our pins to be terminal they need better set location My original point stands
Whichever team executes their game plan the best will win MN MBs need to wall off the back slide I’m sure KBB has a bullseye targeting Davis
MN needs good sets from Shaff And Davis to be at her tippytop smiley self

Here's the B1G question: Can the Gophers remain combobulated?
