I went to todays practice. KCook talked a little bit. He said this team is better in August than they were last December. Thx for sharing- it is promising to hear that! Were there many people there too? |

I'm curious as to your thoughts on the Gopher's Sept 10th match. Do you still think Cook is committing coaching malpractice like you originally said? No, you're not, and I have no intention of responding further to any post of yours.  Probably for the best that you not answer. LAST ON THIS SUBJECT FROM ME (hopefully). YOU made a big deal out of nothing and condescendingly challenged information I got from a player. Not sure why, but in the end, you were proven wrong and instead of just being adult about it and saying, "My bad.", you cowardly run away. My advice to you is to be a better member of this community, as I will by not bringing this up again. I'm excited to see what the Gophers do this season; I do think Cook is building something and I'm anticipating some positive steps forward. |

possibly ignorant question but I've been so curious- does anyone know anything about Shaffmaster's lines on her arm? It looks like it could be a tattoo? at first I thought maybe wires of some sort but they don't appear to move. Anyone know what I'm talking about? You can see it in some recent social media stories

I figured tattoo or struck by lightning (kidding) Other observations I had today: -Z switched from 14 to 12 now that Taylor’s jersey is vacated -Lydia likes raw corn on the cob. I tuned into Mckenna’s Instagram live right as Lydia was asking the corn stand if she could have a raw cob. Apparently they were like “uhhhh…?” but they gave her one haha. There was something silly about watching a Southern California girl shuck an ear of corn and bite into it at the MN State Fair. Sydney’s face was priceless lol |

Check out the delivery of serves by Louisville's Anna DeBeer
e.g. third set at 10-10
if your point of contact is, maybe 6" higher, your serve can be driven with almost no upward arc (launch angle)
With your pace the serves will dive into the court and you won't be 'long' nearly as much
