I'm looking for 3 years of Snichels starting on the RS after Grote graduates. I don't think Crowl will see the court next year, as SS will get some PT. Will be interesting to see how what position Olivia Swenson plays. Crowl has always given me mean girl energy...and I can corroborate from people who know her from HS and beyond that I am indeed correct in these feelings and I would love to see her leave. Especially if she is on schollie wtf

Don't forget about Carly Gilk coming in for the 25 season too. There will be some stiff competition on that RS. As for Olivia, pretty sure she will play OH. Didn’t schnichels play both pins in club/high school? If Hanson is out, that’s another option on the OH along with Swenson Pretty sure Schnichels is a lefty so that limits where she will play.

Is it possible Cook is pulling scholarships from non-starters? I feel like this will be his first true off-season to start to rebuild it into his program, and wouldn’t be shocked to see some players leave. Last season, he didn’t have much of an opportunity between moving, press conferences, etc. excited to see what he can do. No I think you might want to slow down with your many theories a bit lol Cook would never do that. The Big Ten guarantees the full four years of a scholarship to a SA who signs for a full scholarship; the coach cannot "pull' the scholarship. I don't know if the same is true for a SA who signs up for a 'two and two" agreement; ie. whether the "two" are likewise guaranteed. I hope they are.

Not familiar with Cook quite yet, so you never know! Which is why I asked lol

Why is St Thomas not eligible for post season?

Why is St Thomas not eligible for post season? It was part of the deal that allowed them to transition from Division 3 to Division 1.

Why is St Thomas not eligible for post season? NCAA rules. This was their first or second year of NCAA D1 competition. I think there's a 4-5 year window where they're not eligible

Yes by the looks of Julia’s Instagram comments she is not staying. I get it. Minnesota is loaded with OH. Also could it be a possibility that there is not a scholarship available for her. She should go across the river and dominate at St. Thomas. Can’t see that happening since they are not eligible for post season. That is my dream someday to have the Minnesota transfers go there. To be clear (again) the comments on Julia’s post have more to do with the Grad Assistant leaving in the post not Julia or anyone else leaving. Not sure anyone would tag Minn Volleyball with a I’m outta here message. Except that Landfair replied with a thumbs down emoji. That wasn't directed towards the grad assistant.
