I have a serious question; I thought that a DI athlete could play professionally before college as long as they weren't winning prize money or making an excessive amount of money that isn't deemed necessity? I believe that’s correct, if in different sports. Theoretically, beach and indoor would be different. |

Maybe the coaches are just following her out of being friendly. After all, she is a good friend of one of their player so it’s a good way to build relationships. Maybe Avia can help land future Israeli players for UH. Or, maybe, the coaches do not know that she is a 'PRO'. It would not surprise, or even shock me, if Robyn and her coaching staff, does not know this. They are so involved in Club Volleyball, the most likely do not even know what is going on at the Collegiate Level, or even in the Transfer Portal. Does Robyn and her coaching staff, even look to see who is in the Transfer Portal. I am crying, this is hilarious lol |

Did Katelyn Smith from USC transfer to UH? Couldve sworn I saw her walking around campus wearing Makua's #6 alakai shirt

It seems like Amber is going to be on the LOVB Houston team with Hancock and Thompson! Wonder what it would take to get a LOVB team based in Hawaii? First professional team in the state being a volleyball team would be absolutely EPIC |

OK so I guess we just have to wait to see if Robyn was able to get any transfers. I see that other teams are already announcing their transfer so I was wondering if it's normal for Robyn to not announce her transfers. |

I have another question….if D2 level players were to move up to D1, do they need to enter the portal? Obviously, JC don’t but don’t know about D2. There is an article written about many talented football players are starting off their careers at D2 or lower since big time college teams are filling their rosters with transfers….thus taking away opportunities for HS graduates. I’m assuming that is also true for women’s volleyball. P5 schools don’t need to reach down to D2 since they can steal….😁…….kids from other G5 schools but G5 schools could replenish their rosters with talented D2 players. So that leads to my question of whether D2 kids need also to be in the portal to move up to D1? |
