Not hateful, just extremely realistic about where the Wahine Team is heading, under Robyn and staff. I can predict there are going to be quite a few of you who are going to be extremely disappointed, at the end of this coming season, when the Wahine Team, does not even win the BWC, and also, does not make the NCAA Tournament. Get use to it, people, this is where the Wahine team is trending under Robyn and staff. I think it's always better to wait and see. It's May and a lot can happen from now until first serve.

Completely agree! I'm not happy with the direction the program has been taking either but I'm still hopeful that Robyn and staff can turn things around. We, as fans, should always be hopeful! Go Bows!

Not sure why some are “unhappy” with the direction of the team. We had good spring….sweeping 3 matches against opponents of similar stature. Sure we lost Paula and have yet to find a replacement but I trust the coaches that we will have someone to fill that spot.
Caylen, Tali and Stella look like a pretty good trio to start at the pins. Not a lot of experience with Tali and Stella but I can see potential with them. Caylen will probably be the go to girl and get tons of swings. Bamis at MB showed flashes at times and will get plenty of reps to improve. I think Mili will surprise many and become a force right off the bat. She has the tools and work ethic to make it work as a freshman. Our smalls should be in good hands with Tayli and Victoria.
Depth and youth are issues but hopefully the 3 new girls coming in will at least push the starters. The wildcard is Maddie. Don’t know how far along in her recovery she is but if she is fully recovered, she can play middle or OPP so she could be someone that can fill some holes.
I am more hopeful than most. I trust the coaches that they will find the right players to fit into the team. Might have missed out on a couple of studs but there could still be players who can help.

I just want to know who the three transfers are I don't think we have any transfers committed. I think koa was saying to expect three new Wahine meaning that the coaches are still recruiting not necessarily meaning we had them committed.

Not sure why some are “unhappy” with the direction of the team. We've been over this before so I'm not going to rehash it all over again. But to suffice it to say, our program is not relevant nationally anymore - we've been ranked only once in the last 6 years. This is my opinion and I don't care to debate the "why's" and how's" of it. Like I said, I'm hopeful that Robyn and staff can turn the program around and make our beloved team nationally relevant again...

If you didn’t know, even though the portal is closed for women’s indoor volleyball, the process is still ongoing. I believe that they have until summer to finalize any transfers. In general by the time, you see someone announce that they have entered the portal, if they are highly recruited players, most of them have already been unofficially in contact with target school or schools. Yes by the rules officially no contact can take place before they are in the transfer portal however, a common work around is having surrogate agents such as high school or club coaches that may have a personal in with said target school or school coaches. so for those elite players, they have already made their choices as soon as they announce entering the portal.
For some of the other type of players, they probably Will do more of the looking and talking to possible target schools and probably take longer to decide.

I thought that when the portal closes then if the player hasn't transferred they can't. I see now how that is wrong. The rules of the portal and transferring are a mystery to me...lol

Really amazed that Mili was living alone for a year while finishing her last year of highschool (least she had family on the island). Seems like a really mature young woman and I think she will be such a great teammate and future leader of the Bows! www.tiktok.com/t/ZPRKY115E/

I still remember Jaylen stealing the younger Akana from the Wahine 😢

That must've been an experience for a high school senior to be living alone.
