She actually just committed to Minnesota which was probably the best long term move for her. I love that she landed at Minnesota! Can't wait to see her with the Gophers. Who is Avecido? |

Also former target Iane Henke is headed to Florida State. Too bad we couldn’t snag her. She would have been a contributor IMHO.

I don't follow the transfer portal very closely so I have a question: is it normal this late in the year to not have any transfers from the portal? Or is their still time to get a transfer or two?

My hope is that we got 3 coming in….just that the 3 doesn’t want to announce and since it’s transfers, school cannot announce until they enroll in school.
We just might have to wait. Could also be we got two and waiting for the 3rd to sign a scholarship agreement then announce all three and shock the world. 😂😂
Last season, Paula was not announced until June 16th so we will have 12 days to see if we can get any announcement before then.

Maybe they are just walk-ons, tbh I don’t think there is much in the portal anymore to just give a scholarship to that would make anymore of an impact than the players we currently have.

We still may need experience on the B side. It is not ideal to have the B side comprised of all the freshmen. They really won’t give our starters a good look in practice. We need all 3 to have done college experience. Maybe no impact players but players good enough to push our starters and make them work. I mean someone Mel McGann ain’t going to wow us but she is an experienced player and will provide some help if needed. I would try and get her in the team. She was a fairly good HS player in Keller, Texas and is friend with Kate. She also provide size that we don't currently have so she can give us a different look. |

Transfers can be announced at any time, they don’t need to be enrolled in school. Unfortunately, the Wahine don’t have anyone from the portal committed yet and are still searching but it’s not looking good… |
