At the end of this volleyball season, Robyn needs to let Nick Castello go. Then beg/plead with Coach Ang, to come back, be the Wahine Team's Top Assistant Coach. I firmly believe, with Coach Ang, as the Top Assistant Coach, people will see a big upgrade in recruiting talent. eh, Ang wouldn't come back for just an assistant position. I high quality hire might have to come in the form of an associate, but RAM already has that occupied

Yea at this point, I probably won't watch any more matches until the BW tourney. That will be judgment day for the Wahine. RPI is out the window That is, if the Wahine Team even makes it to the BW Tourney. Cause even that is in question, especially with the brutal mainland trip coming up. Go 0-3 on this coming mainland trip, the BW Tourney becomes a question mark. Mmmm, I feel somewhat confident about the BW tourney bid. Knock on wood tho

This move alone will better the Wahine Team in an instant.

Knock on wood tho All it will take is 2 or 3 players stop really playing, what is Robyn going to do, she has no bench. If the Wahine go on a long losing streak, this is a possibility of occurring. This kind of thing can occur when the team does not have a bench to turn to.

We have all witnessed what Head Coach Charlie Wade has done, after last season. He has brought in all kinds of talented players from the mainland, but more so from Europe. Charlie Wade did not sit hoping players would contact him. He went out looking for talented players. That is what Robyn needs to do, at the end of this season. Robyn cannot just coach her club team, hoping players contact her. She needs to spend all her time, both on the mainland, and also Europe, seeking out players.
More so, Robyn needs to go to Sweden, have a sit down talk with Ang, convince her to come back to the Wahine Team as the Associate Head Coach, that is a must. Otherwise, I hate to say it, but I can see the Wahine Team being a middle of the BWC team, at best, from here on out.

All I can honestly say is, if Coach Ang had stayed and not left, the Wahine Team would have made it to the Regional, or further, quite a few times. But not only that, Amber Igiede, would have been 2 to 3 times as good a player.

Yeah, that global pandemic really screwed things up for Wahine Volleyball, and literally everything else on the planet basically!

Star right side, great coach, especially on blocking, and a missed kind of year on competition all other conferences kind of had.

Igiede could not have been a 2 to 3 times better player, because math.

Who knows how many Hanna Helvig type players she could have recruited to Hawaii.

Igiede could not have been a 2 to 3 times better player, because math. The reason I say that, Coach Ang would have improved her blocking ability tremendously. But not only that, Amber Igiede would have been a much better attacker, a definite 1st Team All American Middle.

I cannot help but think that reading every one of your posts is like passing a bowling ball in the toilet. You are insufferable. You cannot make up a staff that cannot exist. Coach Ang was here, and she left because that is what she had to do.

Welp, she had a drop off from .433 and 1.29 blocks per set her junior year to .396 and 1.09 blocks per set her senior year, but those are gaudy numbers!
