There is a chance that ANY player can transfer. YOU don't know what Caylen wants. I'm not going to let others come on Hawai'i threads and spoil our conversation with their "beliefs." Get off of our thread before I ban you for a week. Anybody else that comes on to Hawai'i threads to talk about where they think Caylen should go will be banned. This is your first and only warning. You seriously think I care.. why do you get triggered so easily.. Is it the Hawaiian sun ?? Yall get your panties get wet when talking about reality and what if.. Bye, dumbass. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. 😂

Willouby numbers againts who ?? I guess being swept by UCSB and losing to UCI and being third in the lowly Big West with a 12=-7 record is quite an accomplishment... Lets be realistic this team is horrible 28 kills, .227 (5 sets) against SMU 20 kills .267 (4 sets) vs. Texas 18 kills .302 (4 sets) vs. Baylor It's not debatable at this point, Caylen is one of the best hitters in the country. What IS debatable is that despite Caylen being this good, the team is not doing better.

Why are you so triggered that there is a chance she will transfer her senior year, she deserves to be against top notch competition hawaii volleyball is in a decline no matter how you spin this, sorry but that is reality and with so many graduating OH this year, most top college programs are looking for top tier players to transfer. Wisconsin, Penn State, Texas, USC, Louisville are all losing players and she would be a great fit, plus she can be closer to home.. Here are those teams 10-yr Avg Attendance (minus 2020)
Wisconsin - 6472
Penn State - 3260
Texas - 3525
USC - numbers so low nobody knows
Louisville - 1726 Hawaii has always averaged 5000- 6000 since the Stan opened. Why should she stay in Hawaii? Because our fans are loyal and not based on their team's ranking to drive attendance. Who wants to play on rinky dink gyms with attendance Hawaii can easily pull on a Sunday? With the amount of transfers we've had recently, it's obvious that attendance is not the only factor when it comes to recruiting and player retention. Case in point: the most recent transfer Paula Guersching. She transferred here because she said she wanted to play in front of large knowledgeable crowds and she still transferred out after only one year. And where did she transfer too? Miami! one of those rinky dink gyms (Knights Sports Complex) with little attendance (home attendance only 3974 YTD!) you were mentioning.... I don't want Caylen to leave either but with our recent history of transfers I wouldn't be surprised at all if she did...

Anywho, no one knows where it all ends, but I wouldn't count Na Wahine out. Last year negative nellies were writing Hawai'i out of the Big West championship, and what happened? Two sweeps and a first-round win... So this fan is a believer.

Those other players didn’t transfer to play their senior seasons at another program. People were saying the saying thing about Amber and she played her final year at the School that recruited her. Talk about Caylen transferring is dumb. She is a ways from home but her mom can watch her play all the time as all of Hawaii’s games are televised.

We've been witness to how much she has grown since she came into the program. She's worked hard yes, but so have her coaches. Player development is a team effort.

As much as I would like to forget the UCSB match, going into the trip, Wahine fans would not have considered 2-1 on the swing a terrible result, and I think the win last night will make it hard for Bakersfield to land a Big West Tournament bid if it is still 6 teams. I hope the Wahine can avoid any more clunker performances at the SSC, as a good upcoming homestand would be huge for Big West positioning.

I never left the Wahine fan bus (despite all the things I've said- mostly in jest.) This has been an up and down season and a struggle but this is still our team. And I'm not going to let other people come on our thread and talk s**t about our team.
