Being a Wahine fan is exhausting.
Just gotta hope that they get hot during the tournament.

If she did leave, unfortunately with the players we bring in next season we will be probably at the bottom of the big west. Don’t really want to think about that right now. I know from first hand experience she loves the program and the girls But this type of loss and season can change things And to be honest, she doesn’t seem thrilled with the coaching staff this season idk maybe we’re all just on high alert but this loss was BAD I believe Caylen will wait to see what the Coaching staff does, when it comes to bringing in more players. If it seems like the Coaching is not actively going after players, sorry, but Caylen is gone. She could easily start on a lot of Top 25 teams. I am quite sure a lot of Top 25 teams would love to have her. In other words, the Wahine Coaching staff needs to get off their A$$, start actively going after players. The Wahine Team cannot go into next season with only 12 players.

If the Wahine Team loses to UC Davis, on Saturday, they will be tied for 6th place, and fighting to just be in the BWC Tournament.

Could Kate Lang go down as the only 4 year Setter to not lead her team to a Conference Championship and a NCAA Tournament entry. Stay tuned to find out. Not something you do not want to be remember by.

Not something you do not want to be remember by. Kate will go down in the UH history books, it’s not entirely all her fault she has only one consistent hitter this season, she does what she can, sure at times her sets are off but I don’t blame her for this season.

This Wahine season is showing just how inexperienced Robyn and her coaching staff is, especially Robyn being the Head Coach.

Why is it that after a bad loss, the worst possible people in this community come out from under their rocks to just yap away

I am not only talking about her Setting. She is the only 4 year Starter on the Wahine Team. She should be the Leader of this team, but she has not done that. I mean, Tali Hakas, has shown more leadership, then Kate Lang has, that is a problem.

Bad day for Hawaii Women's Sport Teams. They all go down with a loss. The Wahine Basketball Team loses to Portland, the Wahine Volleyball Team loses to UC Riverside, and the Wahine Soccer Team loses to UC Bakersfield.

I have only one question for all of you. Do you truly believe Dave Shoji would have allowed this current Wahine Team to play the way they have been playing this season?

With the loss to UC Riverside, the Wahine Team is now fighting for their BWC Tournament Life. Losing 2 out of the next 3 matches, and the Wahine do not qualify for the BWC Tournament. The next 3 Wahine matches involve UC Davis, LBSU, and UC San Diego.

You want to keep an imaginary Wahine Team in your mind. I can deal with one extremely underachieving season, it doesn’t describe the entirety of Robyn or this program’s tenure. That’s my issue with you and others calling for the coaching staff’s head. You are OBSESSED with focusing on every negative aspect of one season post the graduation of multiple senior starters. It’s like you all are too stupid to realize that this is a normal part of the ebbs and flows of a college program and there are going to be low points, this season just happens to be the most significant thus far. The worst part of it all is that you possess the moniker of “wahinefan” when you are simply a fairweather complainer, constantly bashing and belittling players and coaching staff. Please, tell me wahinefan, why would ANY recruit EVER be interested in playing for Hawaii if they knew “fans” like you existed?

What is quite disturbing to me, is that, it seems Robyn has lost all control of this Wahine Team. Watch during time outs, players are talking to each other, not paying much attention to Robyn. Even when Robyn is talking to a player, that player is looking around or trying to talk to another player. During some time outs the coaching staff is not even talking to the players. Watching Dave Shoji throughout the years, during time outs, he makes sure the players have his full attention.

Please, tell me wahinefan, why would ANY recruit EVER be interested in playing for Hawaii if they knew “fans” like you existed? Let me put it this way. I have followed the Wahine Team since their Klum Days. When Dave Shoji first started coaching the Wahine Team. Not once did the Wahine Team have a season like this, under Dave Shoji, excluding that one injury ridden year. What I am getting at is, this Wahine Team has the Talent to have a better record, if they had a more experienced Head Coach. Robyn got away with being an inexperienced Head Coach, cause the BWC was not a very strong conference. Playing in the NCAA Tournament, and getting bounced in either the 1st or 2nd round proves that point. But now that the other teams in the BWC has gotten stronger, we see the Wahine Team starting to really struggle. Yes, the Wahine Team is young. but Dave Shoji also had young teams like this one, but he never allowed those team to be on a roller coaster like this one is on, or even play like this one has. You would always see marked improvement in all his teams, throughout the season. Something that is not seen in this Wahine Team, and that is on Robyn and the Coaching Staff, Sorry.
