Can someone explain Jacyn's halloween costume? Lol Caylen was the best as the Lorax! She was Kaleo. I didn’t understand the underwear tho I’m assuming kaleo is a fan of Speedo’s lol

Can we raid the Big West for another affiliate member? A Southern California school would add great value to the conference.
If I had to pick and choose 1. UCI 2. UCSB 3. UCSD

Slight correction as well. Greeley never really played outside with Granato. I mean Granato was a freshman when greeley was a sophmore but Granato was the back up 2016 greeley had surgery and was never the same the outsides that year were Granato, with a combination of Ross, Sibley in the beginning. Greeley played in Kansas State and Arizona, but her shoulder just could not hold up, and was subbed out pretty early against Arizona. Mitchem took over once she came back, I believe at the pepperdine ish games. Before that, Sibley mainly saw time. Sorry to drift back into the past again but these posts reminded me of my favorite match - Wahine sweeping Penn State in the 2015 regionals. The only time Dave beat Russ Rose. Awesome team - Magill, Greeley, Taylor, Kahakai, Manu-Olevao, Maglio, Higgins Forgot that we had legit weapons at every single position in that season. Man, so unfortunate that year ended on Nikki’s injury

Great win last night. No let down and even Coach was mostly happy.
Anyone see a reel that April Ross just shared? It basically was saying that it’s been studied and proven that too much coaching or over coaching is not beneficial to the athlete. It doesn’t give the athlete time to make the body/mind connection.

I think that should be obvious. At some point, all the screaming and hollering becomes white noise. To hear someone say the same thing over and over is counterproductive. The players have heard it before and a million times. No need repeat another million times. Two of them were guilty of that. Kaleo is Ok and doesn't bombard the girls with instructions at every time outs. I also understand some coaching philosophy of "never wasting a moment to teach and players should never turn down a moment to learn" but there are limits until it becomes repetitive. What is bordering on silliness is coaches that scream at players and pointing at certain spots on the floor while ball is in play. Players are focusing on what is happening on the court. They should not be looking at the coach on the sideline screaming instructions. Basketball coaches are most guilty in this type of behavior.

My favorite is Nick with the blocking and hand positioning instructions whenever a front row player is subbed out. When was he ever an elite blocker at the collegiate level?

LOL…I noticed that too but I think he toned that down this season knowing how silly he looked trying to tell 6-3 3rd team AA Amber Igiede how to block last season. This year Nick has turned to bombarding the smalls with his “shuffle your feet” theatrics. Does that at almost every time out. I think this is a form of Obsessive Compulsive Behavior…volleyball version.
