Maybe so but they add value to the programs they support. I wouldn't be so quick to denigrate people that support a team with their time and money. The last year that I was VP of the Booster Club we raised money to buy A/V equipment for the team among other things. What do you do to support the program? I've pumped thousands of dollars into the program and didn't have to brag about it until now. Give me some money daddy 💁♀️

The booster club is a bunch of pompous windbags. Maybe so but they add value to the programs they support. I wouldn't be so quick to denigrate people that support a team with their time and money. Thank you for supporting the program monetarily past buying season tickets.

Let's not forget about the concession stands. I hear BIK is also personally responsible for all the shortages of garlic fries at the matches at the Stan. 😂

Wow... a 5 set loss to Riverside? This team just loves digging themselves in a hole and making drama this season Yup, worst conference loss in program history if you ask me. Injury plagued 1992 season aside, this team is setting records for program lows this season: first loss at home and one of only two losses to Davis in program history, most road losses in program history, most conference losses in program history, and now first loss to Riverside in program history. I can sort of buy the excuse that Hawaii can't keep up with the P5 conferences as an excuse for not being ranked anymore but losing ground in the mediocre Big West? What excuse(s) are the Robyn defenders going to use now? "Dave left the cupboard bare"? Please Craig Angelos for the sake of what's left of this program please fire this coaching staff! Fire the coaching staff? Then tell me, who'd replace them? Who'd want to come here and be the coach? I'm sure the names that were thrown around before Coach Robyn got hired aren't interested now.

Wahine Volleyball has a lot going for it Because it does not pay enough relative to the cost of living Jalen makes more than robyn im pretty sure, and he lives in nebraska... dave only made what he did cause he was dave. Im sure robyn is making good money, but not enough to attract a talented coach with no ties to the island. we would need someone with heavt ties whos main reason is not money (im not saying hire jalen cause plz no)

I would bet a month's pay that if Robyn was fired (and she should be) there would be a long list of coaches that would apply...

He has played and coach in Hawaii. I would not be shocked if Coach Ang applied. As Hapaguy mentioned there will be many more.

I know they have several on campus apartment buildings (townhomes?) for faculty but not sure if that would include athletic dept. coaching staff...

Are you talking about those apartment buildings across the street from the student dorms? Cause those apartment buildings are for UH staff lecturers.

Also, Jaylen would never become head coach for Hawaii womans volleyball, too much of an ego to become a coach in the mountain west, knowing him he wants to stay in the BIG at all costs. I guess we could get interest from Scott Wong or Kevin Wong or I think Kawika Shoji would be an interesting one (trade a setter for a setter).

Hummm, the 2 Shoji brothers coaching the Wahine Team, interesting thought.
