Well, here we are. Again.
Only two high school recruits coming in. Both are pretty good, but are they enough? Highly doubt that. I hate that we have to go back to the portal again to try to get a complete team. We can't so heavily rely on transfers forever. I am hoping that 2024 is the last year where transfers make up a majority of the reps.
It's been 10 years since we won the national championship, and I'm getting really cranky about that, made even worse by the teams that have risen to the top the last several years.

Who is coming back, assuming nobody enters the portal? I think the only girls who have completely exhausted eligibility are Podraza, Van Eekeren, Perugini, and Weatherington. I think everyone else has a COVID year to burn or otherwise regular eligibility left. |

Who is coming back, assuming nobody enters the portal? Returning starters will be Grimes, Mruzik, Hannah, and Starck. Everyone else is leaving as far as I know. They will need a middle transfer or two but Izzy Starck will likely set next year, and Markley has a chance if she can live up to her potential. For what it’s worth, Penn State has a really good 2025 class! |

They will need a middle transfer or two but Izzy Starck will likely set next year, and Markley has a chance if she can live up to her potential. For what it’s worth, Penn State has a really good 2025 class! I thought Holland & Trammell were also staying for a 5th year |

Stanford just showed great middles are important to a title run. Anyone know the best 5th year (Covid) middles around the country? Still one more year of Covid years correct? |

I guess the only question remaining concerns Trammell. It's my impression that she's leaving, but she hasn't made an announcement, AFAIK.

Plus they are getting the top or at worst #2 setter and top libero in their freshman class. I really think a top OH and MB in the portal and this team can be very dangerous next year. |

plus aren't both recruits going to be on campus starting in jan? IMHO this will help get them ready for the fall so much more than if they were just there over the summer, they will be to weight train and workout with the team/coaches.
