Starck the #2 setter? She got beat out for a spot on the U19 team last summer by a sophomore. Fadaldo top Libero? She got beat out for the starting position on the U19 tam last summer by a sophomore. The are both good players, but they are not the top of the 24’ position rankings for their positions. 🏐 They are. They weren't beaten out by others in their class. I suppose you can argue that the soph class is stronger than their class, if you wish. And it's Falduto. Izzy Starck was beaten out for a spot on the U19 team this summer by Charlie Fuerbringer, the other top-ranked setter in the Class of 2024 She was also beaten out to a spot last summer at the U19 Pan-Am by Fuerbringer, but ended up getting Fuerbringer's spot when Fuerbringer caught COVID and couldn't go. |

I hate that we've sunk as a program to the point where during Final Four weekend all I have to feel is petty joy in watching teams I hate lose.
Unfortunately, there's no one left in this tournament I'd like to see win, so... can both teams lose tomorrow night? Both did God's work by evicting Pitt and Wisconsin last night, but now I need them also to lose.
