I get we have only one loss, but we are so bizarre. Struggle a bunch with Maryland at home including dropping a set, and then absolutely truck #11 Oregon (who admittedly is on a sucky road trip). Sorry that your low expectation of PSU is not panning out so far~~ |

Jess Mruzik hit .353 with 16 kills, eight digs, and three solo blocks.
When Katie landed Mruzik, it’s safe to say she was a diamond not in the rough but one that needed a little polishing. Jess has worked hard at her craft to become a top POY candidate. Boy are the fans at Rec Hall blessed to be able to watch her.

Maryland is a boring match that is hard to get up for and PSU wins 99 out of 100 times. Oregon is the type match these players play the sport for. 100% ready and focused. I am sure every national champ in history had a bad match during the season where they did not look like championship material. Exception maybe PSU during their 4 year run. |
