Everyone should stop commenting on this post so it falls to the depths of vtalk and not seen on the main page. This athlete does not need to be the topic of debate and the target of hate on here. The more debate, the more terrible, hateful things said. There are so many more things going on in the volleyball world. Comment on those threads. The First Amendment is there to stop people like you in government from playing God. Hopefully the courts will send the Bidumb Administration leaders who violate people’s human rights to prison. They include those who open biological women to sexual abuse.

I address trans people by their preferred first names/proper nouns. If they bothered enough to correct me with their preferred pronouns then I know they’re woke. mentally unstable showoffs

This “identification” has been used by sex offenders to violate locker rooms. Safety is more important than mentally unstable showoffs who may or may not have sexual abuse on their minds. Also in jails and get women pregnant there. Safety should be applied to all. Not just a select group. It’s pretty obvious if all you have to do is identify as a women to have access to women’s lockerooms it will provide a dangerous environment to women cause it will be abused for sexual abuse ect What about biological women who identify and present as men? Don’t you think they’ll have issues using Women’s restrooms?

You can’t stop that as much as some Believe we can live in this fantasy world where we can stop it all. Their will always be bullying just like their will always be terrorist just like their will always be greed. These are just part of human nature. Does it suck , of course. But it’s about balance. The fact is men physically and sexually abuse biological women then the other way around. Allowing biological males into biological females lockeroom creates way more probability for conflict then a biological female parading as a man in a female lockeroom. Nothing is ever perfect but that’s why we weigh everything to see the lesser evil or destruction or however one may choose to see it

I’m not talking about when a person is in a medical situation/context. A person walks up to you on the street. For whatever reason, you have a long enough conversation that “Chris” lets you know their preferred pronouns are she/her. You talk to a friend, later on, about the person you encountered. What pronouns do you use to refer to Chris, and why? I address trans people by their preferred first names/proper nouns. If they bothered enough to correct me with their preferred pronouns then I know they’re woke. I didn’t say whether Chris was cis- or trans-gender. How do you determine the “proper” (pro)nouns to use?

People need to stop letting words affect them so much. I’m totally against physical abuse but verbal is a mental prob to me. I’ve never seen anyone die directly from words. Sure if the words lead to physical but no one has ever died by words alone. The fact that people let pronouns affect them that much isn’t society’s issue it’s that individuals issue. This whole nonsense that because someone has a different view they are a danger to these people and society is just a fear tactic to get people to follow along

Are you saying people should use bathrooms that are their current assigned sex, sex at birth, how they present, or what?
