Okay, good for you but that is not the overriding concern of the NCAA and its membership. What is the overriding concern of NCAA and its membership? Complying with federal law and university policy is more important to the membership than some perceived notion of competitive balance.

the scholarship was taken away Evidence of this? Saw something on Twitter.. I think UWvolleyball set their page to private now so we can’t see their tags.

They'll be more concerned as they get more lawsuits. University Policy is getting in the cross hairs of elected officials. Forced DEI initiatives that are getting struck down more and more. Federal law should be the far larger concern as university policy when it comes to these matters can be fluid.

People have been warning that the pendulum would eventually swing back and that’s what’s happening now. It’s not a shocker. People actually didn’t think it was gonna be that easy did they with all this craziness. More and more that were afraid to speak out against it arnt anymore. It was always the vocal minority that supported this nonsense not the majority. All they ever broadcast though is the minority 100% of time to make it look the the majority when it never was. The majority is over it now.

I posted on this earlier, but there are significant federal nondiscrimination protections in place in higher education and compliance with those laws are more important to a university than what some hooting chud thinks about trans athletes playing amateur sports.

Maybe it’s not technically from official sources but doesn’t mean it’s incorrect.

I don’t know any other program who’d set their volleyball program to private. Probably some damage control.
