UW can't comment on it either way without violating NCAA rules. I just find it weird now that their Twitter is now private but something is definitely up. I don’t know any other program who’d set their volleyball program to private. Probably some damage control. Here’s the thing. The majority has finally woken up and is now fighting this so there’s more fear of backlash from the majority now. When the majority was quiet and two afraid to speak up people were allowed to get away with that type of stuff. Things are changing now |

They didn’t have a problem when it was the vocal minority pushing it. Now that the majority has decided to wake up a voice themselves this stuff will change real quick. |

I'd guess their Twitter feed has been made private because of so much despicable hatred being directed @ their feed. Twitter, of course, has removed most of their content moderation so it's the wild west. Every half-wit, racist bigot is now free to attack, sort of like the poorly formed "thoughts" many have posted in this thread. |

Free speech means everyone not just people who think one way. They were completely censoring conservatives for the same things they didn’t censor liberals for. It’s just an even playing field again. Their is not such thing as partial censorship. There’s either free speech or censorship. There’s only one purpose for censorship and that’s to actively block truths from getting out. Without active intervention the truth always finds its way out |

It is probably worth noting that there is a 17 or 18 year old kid out there that is having a crappy day...either because of losing a scholarship or making the mistake of reading this thread. Tread gently. As I noted like 25 pages back, my kid played vs. Tate multiple times and it wasn't a thing.
