It think it’s you cherry picking. Everyone wants to pick things out that support their narrative The dreaded, “I know you are but what am I?” response. Please provide a full summary of Lia’s pre-transition rankings. I have cited a number of examples in this thread and provided context. That’s much less cherry picking than what you have done. I can link article after article and you will still call in cherry picking. Or somehow try to justify their source being legit and yours not. I’m not gonna do that. You can google and find plenty of articles that back the one I sent

I appreciate your insight. I don’t personally think it’s hate. Yes, you can claim that you are a grown a$$ woman… (go ahead you can have that… ) but there are actual biological grown a$$ women who have been through the motions of being a little girl* and growing into the body of a biological woman. You CAN’T say that you have been through the same motions like biological women. You can’t say that you’ve gone through the emotions of having menstrual cycles like majority of these biological women.** You have an entirely different journey, so you comparing yourself to a biological women is invalid. You can claim yourself as a trans-woman or a woman as you please, but you’re not a biological woman. You’ve been modified and transitioned into one and that’s just the facts. I’ll respect you as a woman but that doesn’t justify why transgender women should be accepted to receive scholarships over biological women. I’ll help you protest for a trans-woman category and support you as a trans-woman or a woman, but don’t force anyone to think that transgender women are the equivalent to biological women. That won’t fly with everyone and that’s something you need to understand. PS I am a gay individual. *Are you referring to the social implications of femininity and womanhood? **Trans women can experience the emotional impact of hormone regulation and many do experience similar cycles, just without the bleeding. But there are also many women who don't experience menstrual cycles naturally, so connecting menstruation to womanhood is already invalid. You've seemed to create this notion that all biological women have the same or similar experiences to one another, which completely ignores the idea of intersectionality. PS, letting us know you are gay doesn't give you a free transphobe pass. I’m not looking for a transphobe pass.. like I’ve stated I respected this person as a woman. Do I have to accept her as a biological woman..?? NOT AT ALL.

You literally are trying to discount my opinions as a trans person and center yourself and your opinions instead of actually listening. There is no such thing as “I respect you as a woman but I don’t believe in your equality.” You can take your fake respect somewhere else. Fine with me but not everyone has to accept your mentality as well. You’re a trans-woman and not a biological one and that’s the facts. The fact that he identifies himself as a trans person and not a woman he clearly knows where his stance is. This issue is not about trans people entering sports, but the fact that a trans person wants to play in a gender not of his own. If he wants to play college volleyball then he should go to the men’s league. That’s plain and simple. I can’tunderstand why some people are having a hard time understanding this very simple fact? Men = men’s sports Women’s = women’s sports Period!

A select few? lol. Just because someone doesn’t have the same values or same views doesn’t mean they hate a person. Just because I don’t believe in terms like trans doesn’t mean a hate an individual it just means we see things differently. I very much think they exist as a person and hope all the best for them I just don’t agree in the terminology. Equating that to hating someone I could consider bullying. If you don’t see things this way then you’re a hateful dangerous homophobe. Now that way of thinking is what’s dangerous. So if you believe trans people exist, but don't believe in terms used to describe them, what would be better language? You have not been arguing pragmatics at all in this thread, so that is an interesting switch up. That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying I will give them every respect as a human being I can without compromising my own values. That I don’t see trans as a thing. It’s not that the individual themself doesnt exist. I don’t believe in the concept of trans. That person exists to me a a human individual in whatever they were born

Tokenism at its finest huh? I can’t speak for trans people but you can? Just because there are a select few who “don’t think it’s hate” doesn’t erase the majority of those who find blatant transphobia hate. I guarantee that the majority of trans people find misgendering and and denying access to equality to be hateful. 🙄🙄🙄 A select few? lol. Just because someone doesn’t have the same values or same views doesn’t mean they hate a person. Just because I don’t believe in terms like trans doesn’t mean a hate an individual it just means we see things differently. If you don’t see things this way then you’re a hateful dangerous transaphobe . Now that way of thinking is what’s dangerous. I was responding to their assumption about trans people and their view on trans access to sports. But if this is your coming out post as a trans woman who disagrees with me then… congrats I guess 😂🏳️⚧️

I did yesterday and I have in past and every time I do it’s the same thing. You’re cherry picking. Provide more info. It doesn’t matter how much I provide it won’t matter it will be labeled as cherry picking by anyone who doesn’t agree with the info.

I think the intentional language you are using here shows that this is not just an issue about trans people in sports but rather the existence of trans people in general.
