They generally don't in a 5-1 in college? One has the libero serve, the other gets a SS. |

You're saying that neither MB will serve? They generally don't in a 5-1 in college? One has the libero serve, the other gets a SS. Less common at UW, although Rettke getting DSd by Ashburn broke that pattern. CC in a 6-2 with few subs almost had to serve the last two years. Anyway, I misread the post to mean that the L was not serving for either middle. That's what actually seemed odd to me. |

It's good to have depth and if it is CC who gets fewer opportunities then Sheff has coming off the bench someone who started 34 matches last year and would have led the team in blocks at 1.35 b/s if not for the B1G leader Cardi B at 1.56. Some problems are just good to have. (ETA: By the way 1.35 b/s was 3rd in the B1G last year behind Cardi B and Bekka Allick. What an embarrassment of riches this team has up front.) |

She was left off the list. Well, the list was the starting lineup, so in order to start, that means CC is starting over either Booth or DRob. And I don't see that happening sorry. Sure, she might be subbed in here and there for blocking purposes or serving purposes, but otherwise I don't see how she's starting unless there's an injury. |

Don’t count CC out. At the scrimmage against Bradley she looked better than Devin. She was impressive with her quickness along the net.I thought Devin looked a step slow that night.

I could easily see a world where CC starts in the middle over Devyn if Booth (or CC I guess) are comfortable running slides (which I haven’t personally seen much so idk). CC has got to be a lot better MIDDLE blocker (not even to Devyn’s fault) and if she was M2, then she’d be with Smrek two rotations and Sarah for two (basically there would be one rotation with Orzol/CC/Smrek, then Sarah/CC/Smrek, then Sarah/CC/Charlie. the last one would be the only half concern and you still have NPOY to bail you out and I’m sure CC can run a slide for one rotation)

Both Louisville and Wisconsin have a lot to figure out with their Lineups tommorow, since they are both high caliber teams they will use their best players. Whether it's GG on a pure serve/receive rotation, or one of the freshmen just to give her some rest, is something I won't pretend to know. |
