Can't serve + can't receive = lose Rinse and repeat for the Badgers... 2 sets to get it together. Let's see.

Should we be worried that Carter will enter the transfer portal after season? With this huge senior class graduating, and more youngsters joining it will be a major rebuild. Leaving just her GG and Saige as the “upperclassmen”

Left early again. This team is painful to watch.

Wisconsin losing confidence after this weekend, they seemed to stop trying.

Wisconsin losing confidence after this weekend, they seemed to stop trying. Did you watch that match? They were giving it their all at the end. Just wasn’t enough tonight. It’s a very rough start, but this will be a very good team come November

Wisconsin losing confidence after this weekend, they seemed to stop trying. I think they tried but just were outplayed especially on defense and serving. Stanford wouldn't let them back in and the Badgers just made too many errors.

For the first time this season, when our backs were against the wall, we fought tooth and nail to claw back. We are gonna be just fine! I’m more confident in this team after seeing the WILL to come back then I have ever been after a lost. (This and maybe when the 2021 team lost to Maryland)

I am already pre-preparing myself for a 0-5 start. 2 good Texas schools on the road coming.

Yeah, so SOMETHING has to be done about the back court. The only reason to not have GG as libero is if you have a better passer, but Damrow’s numbers aren’t cracking 2 if my math is correct. Saige had only 3 digs tonight. Schumacher has the best passing stats so far and has just 3 fewer digs than GG on all 3 games, but had some spotty moments in SR including a particularly bad Stanford ace where neither she nor Damrow called it. There needs to be SOME consistency somewhere, especially with the question at OH. But Sheffield doesn’t look like he’s looking to play Schumacher at bro so I can’t tell. Just ugh all the way around.

A very pleasant element from this game was CC. Was good to see her get going and see an offensive side of her we haven’t seen while she’s been at Wisconsin. Hard to keep her on the bench if she keeps playing like that. She and Charlie seem to click well on some of those tempo sets that looked really smooth.

The thing about passing is that with Sarah and Julia....we can literally HIDE the libero. Like yes it's tragic, but we did this last year to a freaking final four. I don't get why are we passing with FOUR out there on lollipop serves? Hell, even on hard serves passing with four isn't the move because it just invites miscommunications. Especially when we've shown WE CAN PASS WITH TWO.

In terms of serving, passing and defense, The Badgers are nowhere near the elite teams they lost to. That doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon.
