Her meeting the girls wasn't political but make your arguments as you will. She wasn't prostelitizing nor discussing anything political in nature. I have signs on my lawn and can still water it without it being a political statement. I can even greet my neighbors, neighbors who disagree with me from said lawn with political signs and it isn't a political conversation. Seems I'm not the one who needs to get a grip.🙃 🙄 You do realize only a small clip was filmed? Perhaps a conversation about the campaign or being VP came up. The current VP of the USA met the team with the current Gov of Wisconsin. Both are politicians. The signs in the background were political. I’m not saying I’m for or against this but are you really willing to die on a hill that this can’t be viewed as political… everything is subjective. Of course it’s a good opportunity for the team, yes. But regardless it is political Must be a difference of generations. I’m Gen Z and we like to keep it real. Keeping it real, the players met VP Harris at The Alliant Energy Center:
As Harris entered the Alliant Energy Center, she was greeted by the Badgers and Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers ...
That is the answer to any concerns about the signs and "it is political", i.e., these players elected to go to The Alliant Energy Center to meet the VP at her political rally.
It's all out in the open:

So, what time do you think the line forms outside the Fieldhouse tomorrow? I say 8 am for the die hards, 5 pm for the rest. I would go with noon or 1. Die hards take a half day off of work to show up early? No. They take a full day. Or they are retired.

Omg. It's all out on the open. I still think the girls meeting the VP is pretty cool, even if it were Pence. This is a black woman running for president and this team is comprised of... WOMEN. I don't see a single piece of political propoganda. Some people are so fundamentally incapable of thought it astounds me.

You didn't think that was their locker room at the Field House, did you? Because besides the lack of ANY equipment or personal items in any of the spaces, the Field House is MUCH nicer than that, and Kamala isn't going to schlep down to the Field House - and the Secret Service aren't going to want her to - in the middle of the last very busy week of campaigning. Of course that was at Alliant Engery, that was obvious from the first moment.

Its a campaign appearance after a political rally. Poor burly constant cynic ! Moments should be enjoyed: these women who met a female VP and possible future Pres. it wasn’t that long ago NCAA didn't sponsor sports for women! Just stating a fact. I'm surprised at the number of people unsettled by presenting facts. If this were the opportunity you say it is wouldn't Charlie and Frank be there. As pepperjack said in a different message some need to settle a bit. We are already getting borderline comments that could send this thread way off kilter like 'all my favorites are harris girls'
We dont need overtly political discussion in the main thread and you're just playing with fire by normalizing such posts.

The rest maybe red. That's why it's a bad idea for the team.
I think that players having different political beliefs is very common and can be bridged a lot more easily, even in this tense time, than you give them credit for. This and also it’s literally none of our business what any player’s political beliefs are.

What a cool experience for those players! Hopefully it causes a protest from the players that weren’t there and they decide to sit out the next game

If you follow Terry Pettit on facebook, he had a really interesting post about the WI/Neb match. Mascots: Nebraska: Large inflatable goofy kid. Wisconsin: Nocturnal hunter that will eat your Goldendoodle. • If you have read this far, tell me below which statistic will determine the winner of the match: kills or attack errors? Mmmm, Goldendoodles 🍴 🤣 Also, it's going to be attack errors into the Badger Block (even if they insist on calling it the wall of Wisconsin)
