I assume Lola was being rested or recovering from some sort of niggle? How did Saige do as the Libero?

Big ups to Maile for stepping in and stepping up tonight. She was definitely not afraid to launch herself around on defense; I don't know how it looked on TV but in person some of those digs were crazy. In the postgame Sheff was calling Pauley Pavilion the Fieldhouse West because there was so much red. That must have been cool. |

The thing thst stood out to me with just how good Damrow looked in serve receive especially as the game progressed. A shaky beginning had me panicked for a hot minute but by match end she proved herself as one of the teams top performers for the evening. The specific negative things I recall was a serve that ate her up and a couple miscommunications. Overall she perforned very well. |
