I believe she withdrew that commitment somewhat recently. The rosters for the game tomorrow show her as uncommitted. The only other uncommitted player in that game is Kiylah Presley, an OH. The last name caught my attention, until I remembered that other left spelled her name Pressley. But I googled her anyway. My honest feeling is that Sheffield told her playing time was not gauranteed and she wanted to play 6 ro and have some gaurantees to this. So, she did not fit the Wisconsin mantra of team first. Or, in Sheffields words from the article linked above.... "It’s not a place where I think we do particularly well with prima donnas, the world revolving around them." or, I Sheffield's words, Ella is a team player, and she was all-in. |

1. I thought Kennedy Osunsamni was committed to UCLA. (But I agree she’d look great in Cardinal and White.) 2. The merger of the most of the PAC-10 into the B1G will have a significant long-term impact on recruiting. You already see some player who probably would have gone to the B1G go to UCLA, USC, etc.
SO TRUE. Glad that Charlie's announcement was before the merger.......

Ive thought this as well, although I have been kind of nervous about a recommitment to either of those considering the conference realignment. But she has said that she wants to be playing for the best, for championships. UCLA & USC are not doing that now, I’m hoping they turn into stronger programs that they used to be. |

Is there a link or something that describes how they're going to practically execute the new B1G? It seems ridiculous to have nominal student athletes trying to juggle school work as well as a west coast to east coast travel schedule. I know they don't want to do the divisions, and I guess I can see it for football, but for the lower-revenue sports it seems crazy to have that kind of travel.

Sour grapes indeed. My opinion is I hope she found the best fit for her, and I have no motivation to root against her based on the fact that she considered and did not choose Wisconsin. My choice to root against her in her new home is 100% about that new home being Nebraska and nothing to do with her. Although it occurs to me that - if one was reading pettiness into other people's actions - that they might read her New Year's Day post announcing her decision as a response to Carter's Christmas Day post. |

I’m just investigating the situation but looks like all the Nebraska starters have commented congratulating TL, except for Ally Batenhorst or Lindsay Krause. I maybe missed it as i only was searching the top & skimmed over some of the rest. But neither posted her to their stories either. Seems like it could be minuscule, but also could hold some weight behind it & perhaps see one or both of them in the portal..
which would have to be done tonight? before midnight Nebraska time? or in the spring period, which seems more likely for them to enter then imo
