I do not see the longer version on ESPN+ I only see the one version  The longer version is an hour long (it doesn't have commercials online) now that makes sense. Thanks |

After watching the E60 on Nebraska it is tough not to like Harper. She will come out of this a much better person and I have to think John Cook is making sure she has the right support system around her.

Some Nebraska fans need to have a come-to-Jesus/Allah/Buddah moment.
Harper calling for three nattys should have been celebrated by this fanbase as brave, bold, and confident. Instead, some Nebraska fans thought she needed to be “more humble” or even apologize, creating a double standard for female and male athletes while throwing a player under the bus—so much so she didn’t want to come back to Lincoln.
When did this fanbase become full of so many betas? I’m shocked how you’re letting assh0les threaten and say crazy things with impunity to your players on social media and even this website.
The fact there are posters, who pose as Nebraska fans and aren’t getting called out for being fake thugs.
The fact one of you made a podcast with someone whose MO is to say the most vile things about this program and players.
The fact there were fans who think visiting teams’ fans should have court-side seats at Devaney.
The fact that some Nebraska fans are okay with local journalists asking Cook and the players the most cliché, redundant, insensitive, and tiresome questions (“What’s it like going into this match undefeated?” “How does last year’s loss in the finals fuel this year’s team?”) and don’t expect more.
The fact that a local writer gives free press coverage to Wisconsin and tries to get Nebraska fans to support Wisconsin when the teams aren’t playing each other.
The fact that Nebraska fans include the bald assh0le in section B15 who yelled stupid sh¡t at the players when they errored during the scrimmage, thinking he was a stand-up comedian, until I turned around and told him to stfu bc this wasn’t his match to call.
This isn’t an indictment on all Nebraska fans. Some of you bleed red, but there’s something to be said about Nebraska fans who don’t fight for and defend this program/players and would sell out their own to gain favor with others. At the end of the day, it just makes it that much easier to exploit and manipulate Nebraska fans and the program by forcing false narratives on them and doing things like screwing them over with the most back-to-back conference matches and the early match times in the NCAA tournament bc they know Nebraska fans will show up at 11:00 a.m.
Nebraska fans, I’m calling on some of you to fight for this program and the players this season. Stop letting the haters gaslight and bully this program. In the words of a wise woman, “When we fight, we win!”

I had my opinions on Harper. What she did was not ok, but it was clear, even before this article, it was being done by a KID, who needed help, and a desperately and immediately. Im glad she got the help she needed. she is one hell of a player, and I hope this experience shapes her out to be a better person in all facets of life.
Anxiety and depression are no joke, and im glad she realized that

Sorry about removing most of the above post, but my comment only applies to the above. Mikaela Foecke also came in predicting national championships. Swagger and bravado is a NE thing. Opponents hate it when you succeed. Ridicule you when you don't. Foecke's prediction came true for 2 National Championships. Let's hope Harper's does too. If not 3, then at least 2. LOL |
