I can't remember Disney ever using a platform they don't own. I dont think ESPN or Disney would be the ones doing the uploading... It is produced by ESPN. Anyone else uploading it would have the video claimed if not struck for copyright violation.

... Harper calling for three nattys should have been celebrated by this fanbase as brave, bold, and confident.... Sorry about removing most of the above post, but my comment only applies to the above. Mikaela Foecke also came in predicting national championships. Swagger and bravado is a NE thing. Opponents hate it when you succeed. Ridicule you when you don't. Foecke's prediction came true for 2 National Championships. Let's hope Harper's does too. If not 3, then at least 2. LOL Yesss! After Kelsey’s last match as a Husker, she predicted that JWO, Kelly, and the Rolfzens would win a championship. Kelly also predicted championships (plural) her freshman season before she even played a match at Nebraska.

That ESPN podcast on Harper is also pretty good. I think she's been punished more severely than most under similar circumstances, and I'm cool with Harper completely.

To be completely fair, if this was a texas player, wisconsin player, or any other big time player from a nationally ranked team with a big social media presence, I think the same thing would of happened (I dont agree with it at all) This is just the downside of being a big name now a days, it comes with an extra spotlight on you, and impossible expectations to live up too.

Great article. Explains a lot. She is young learning somethings the hard way. Most of us have been there. I made it. She will too!

Referring to people as a "betas" unironically... Truly so cringe. This kind of masculinity cult messaging is so NOT what we need.

That was an excellent written piece. Very moving. Supporting Harper all the way this season and hope to see her thrive. Sunshine is a great disinfectant, and it's very courageous--and likely necessary for her sake--to share details of her struggles publicly, especially after experiencing so much discomfort already publicly and thru social media. But she's clearly going through some heavy stuff (a child approaching her father after finding out he's dying of cancer and asking "Was it because I messed up in school?" is heartbreaking and inconceivable to me.) It appears that she is receiving good help and making progress, and I hope that continues.

That's true! Harper will be booed in some away venues for sure. I hope she's ready for that. Some of it comes with being a big time athlete in the age of social media, but some went way beyond. I'd very much like to know that psychologist who told Harper to die and make a dent in his/her livelihood.

Of course. On the whole, college volleyball crowds are extremely respectable.

i think what really turned it for me was when she clearly yelled "f you b****, let's go!" through the net when she blocked Molly Phillips during the championship match. Before that, I was actually a bit of a Murray fan but was like ummmmmm. It was even more ironic when Asjia gets a yellow for yelling "c'mon" through the net twice.
wish her nothing but the best <3

However, based on this, and even her play during the scrimmage, she seemed to have mellowed down. I wish nothing but the best for her, as she is a young kid who struggled with the spotlight on her. I am confident she can become better because of this.

I am confident she can become better because of this. I would be the first to admit my on-court/field demeanor does not align with my demeanor off the court. I would say it's probably one of the worst versions of myself as it's really about getting out there and being a menace on the court/field. Lord knows it was probably really bad when I was that young, so I totally get it.
