Transfer portal additions obviously create potential (and undoubtedly real) intrasquad tensions related to competition for playing time. All outwards appearances are that NE WVB has handled this very well. Everything indicates this is a tight cohesive group/team. That says a lot about the character of the players on the team. It's been opined that the hardest thing to play is second fiddle. Kennedi, Kayla, and Lindsay have to be commended for playing that role well (and Taylor earlier in the season) and for their positive contributions and devotion to TEAM. |

Interesting bc Beason didn't necessarily take away from Lindsay as they play different positions. Krause can play either pin and was forced into opposite her first two years. One has to think if Beason didn't transfer, Krause would have competed for time at both pins even though opposite is not her preferred position. When Beason transferred in, it pretty much meant nobody else would play opposite. YAWN. |
