Nebraska students were asked which former player they would choose to be on this yearβs team, and most of their answers were lacking π LOL. So young. I would chose Jennifer Saleamua cause I just loved her all around game (from what I can remember/watched on youtube) and Rachel Hollaway. I know there is Pavan, Roflzens, Robinson etc. But I kinda wanted to go a little more out of the box. Stalls would of been fun too

She was at her best at the time I really started to pay attention to Nebraska vb. One of my favorite Huskers

Stalls would of been fun too Loved Saleamua, but if we look at this year's team as a portfolio, then the L1 has been the most inconsistent, so if we could throw Robinson-Cook or Foecke on this team at L1 that'd be a tough lineup. They would also bring a lot of leadership and mental toughness to the team. Larson would be an option because of her all-around game and would boost our serving. Of course, Pavan was such a terminal beast, we could make the argument that she should be added at OPP and let Beason, Landfair, and Krause, battle it out at the L1. I think Beason could handle that. The third option is a middle tandem of Andi Jackson and Tracy Stalls. Stalls would be a huge upgrade offensively at middle while also being better defensively than Allick. If someone made the argument that we need a shutdown middle that would be a significant defensive upgrade, then Holmquist would make an already great defensive squad that much better.
