Agree about looking forward to this next season. Excited about both of our incoming setters! Both are talented, aggressive...and tall!! Ya hear that, Hayden K? Great setting awaits you if you come back home!!  Haha! Yes let’s shout it loud to the Kubik’s:) Also, a great incoming Libero. Stud RS lefty. Moravec and Urquhart return! And Davis and 3 solid middles. Just need a KUBIK! The Kubik's moved to Kansas City area but Hayden may still consider Iowa home. |

The Kubik's moved to Kansas City area but Hayden may still consider Iowa home. It has just been reported that she is headed to Tennessee--bummer! That Elite 8 run paying dividends. Too bad. |

Whittingstall & Gibson were officially announced. Hopefully this means they'll be here for spring! Looks like Whittingstall and Prescott will be here for spring but Gibson not until fall (see link to article below with that info in it). Not sure about Ammeraal and Galles coming in spring. It doesn’t say in article. I would think the setter coming is especially important.

Wonder about Garcia, Phills, Marquardt and Meitzler, too. With this many new players, as much time together to develop chemistry on and off the court would sure be beneficial.

Meitzler and Marquardt are listed on the Sky High 18 Adidas roster for club season & Phills is for Houston Juniors. Haven’t found anything about Malu.

I had a chance to watch the 1st set of the UA Next Volleyball match—Garcia played opp and I thought looked really good. Some really good hits and blocked well. She didn’t serve and she didn’t play six rotations, so nothing to report on back row play, but I am more excited about her now than I was before—and that is a high bar 😀
