How's her actual setting? Teams hitting around .295 after 2 matches. Unlimited range and great touch/location. Huge block. Future national team level setter imo this is a bit misleading. if you take out her kills, errors, and attempts, the rest of the team is hitting .210. that’s more accurate for pure setting purposes

I think that Iowa is going to do MUCH better than last, and I would say surprise some people, but after this weekend people should already have their interest piqued in the Hawks. Maybe but they didn’t play anyone, until they beat a legitimate tourney team then I will be intrigued by them. True, but I still don't think they'll finish last in the B1G.

Liberty lost two big players from last year (Dilfer and Phillips) and their go-to player that did come back, Kamryn Bacus, did not play in their matches.

Rutgers? Rutgers were very competitive with a RV Miami team. It will be amusing to see how many kills the Iowa setter gets in B1G matches… Iowa may be much improved and still be last in the B1G. They played a very competitive match against Providence, and no B1G team should play a competitive match with Providence. Sorry… 🏐

My new top 10 would probably look something like this with the bottom half all being interchangeable. It’s a bummer we didn’t get to see the conclusion of Ohio State vs Dayton because they were looking like the better team IMO. I think this whole list has potential to be top 25 🤷🏽♂️
Nebraska Penn State/Wisconsin Purdue Minnesota Oregon UCLA USC Ohio State Illinois

My tiers after one weekend of games and a (very) small sample size: Tier 1: Contenders 1. Nebraska 2. Wisconsin 3. Penn State Tier 2: Right behind the lead pack 4. Purdue Tier 3: Bunch of teams that can beat up on each other 5. USC 6. Oregon 7. Minnesota 8. Illinois 9. Ohio State 10. UCLA 11. Indiana 12. Washington 13. Michigan State Tier 4: Only up from here! 14. Maryland 15. Rutgers 16. Northwestern 17. Michigan 18. Iowa Thoughts?? I think that Iowa is going to do MUCH better than last, and I would say surprise some people, but after this weekend people should already have their interest piqued in the Hawks. Furthermore, I would put Indiana at the top of Tier 4, unfortunately. Probably paired with Iowa. He just said “interest piqued”, not anything bigger. So settle down. Triple double is fun to see. A completely new team, so any good news is interesting.

After the 1st weekend, I wonder how much this changes now. Crazy weekend in the B1G. My tiers after one weekend of games and a (very) small sample size: Tier 1: Contenders 1. Nebraska 2. Wisconsin 3. Penn State Tier 2: Right behind the lead pack 4. Purdue Tier 3: Bunch of teams that can beat up on each other 5. USC 6. Oregon 7. Minnesota 8. Illinois 9. Ohio State 10. UCLA 11. Indiana 12. Washington 13. Michigan State Tier 4: Only up from here! 14. Maryland 15. Rutgers 16. Northwestern 17. Michigan 18. Iowa Thoughts?? I’d probably move Northwestern to 18th, personally. That middle pack of 5-13 is gonna be such a mess, but I think Minnesota and Oregon will be the top of that pack, with Illinois, OSU and the LA schools not far behind. Indiana is a wild card. Not sure how much more they can offer at this point, but very much appreciate how hard they’re trying to make it to December.

Yes definitely agree, Minn Oregon and even USC looked good and should be at the top of that pack but will be susceptible to "upsets" by capable opponents. Should be fun to watch! I wasn't super high on Minnesota entering the season but they looked very good against Stanford...looks like I might've underestimated them.

This is stupid. How does Izzy get freshman of week and Nebraska girl get setter of week when both are freshman setters. This is just wanting to hand out to as many different people as possible. If both are setters and both are freshman then one of those should have grabbed both

My bad I must have been looking at old article when she was freshman. I was gonna say how could both be freshman setter and the person who won freshman of the week also not be setter in that case

BIG schedule has got crazy. Now with those 4 bigger pac schools in BIG they are in conference schedule now and it allows big to schedule ooc against Texas Stanford and those acc teams. I’m looking at psu playing tennesse Louisville Kentucky and Pitt in there ooc and then having to play conference schedule. Nobody will be playing as tough as schedules as BIg teams

So we can add Minnesota to the growing list of B1G teams who can beat anyone. Wisconsin is going to have trouble with a setter who is playing floor defense at a high school level. From here on out she is gonna see a lot of shots directed at her… should be fun… 🏐
