Good question! Hoping Ammeraal will be able to be back on the court from her injury yet this season to be in contention for this one. Doesn't she already have one? Or are you hoping for another? I hope she's cleared to play soon too! Yes, she already has one. Think the question was about who would get the "next" triple-double and sure hope she does indeed get another! Definitely hope she gets cleared to play again soon. Looked very nasty when it happened and she sure doesn't look close to coming back yet...just from an uninformed eye, of course. So disappointing to have that happen so early in her first season with the Hawks after such a promising start.

Is Michigan decent again? Or is it too early to tell. Michigan was always THAT team in the B1G - finishing somewhere in the broad middle of the conference - usually upsetting a high ranked team(s) at some point, but also dropping matches you'd expect them to win. Usually made the tournament and then anything could happen. Last year they were really down and obviously they have a new coach after the Rosens left after a long tenure. Off to a 10-1 start. Things looking up in Ann Arbor?

Usually made the tournament and then anything could happen. Last year they were really down and obviously they have a new coach after the Rosens left after a long tenure. Off to a 10-1 start. Things looking up in Ann Arbor? They are better - a lot better - but I'm not sure if they are tournament worthy yet. I do think they will upset a couple of teams. I'm not surprised by tonight's result against MSU, having watched both in the non-conference. But I am surprised that they have passed the Spartans so quickly, I was expecting better from Leah Johnson this season. Michigan has upgraded at almost every position, most notably on the pins. Allison Jacobs is playing with passion and purpose after missing 2023 with a shoulder injury. They are getting significant contributions from two freshmen, Ella Demetrician at OH and Trixie McMillan at DS and serving sub. Depth at OH has allowed Valentina Vaulet to play her natural position at OPP where she has been much more productive. And Morgan Burke might not be the most spectacular setter in the B1G, but she has been a steady, calming presence running the offense. Some folks around here who should know better were calling for Erin Virtue's head after the first set of the season. She has already made major strides here in Year 2 and I'm excited for the future of the program.

Getting used to this long time window for B1G volleyball now the West Coast teams are in. I think the conference should let Hawaii in. I mean, think about it. You could damn near schedule vball matches around the clock.
